The hunt for more bow-makers begin
As we progress and growing each day, I have long quit my job as the original bow-maker. I was not one who is skillful in handicraft and can never sew at all. But the desire to learn a new skill, even a simple skill, made me spend late nights being coached in making bows by videos in YouTube.
Then when the demand increases, and sacrificing sleep was taking its toll (and forcing the husband to do bows is not really working out) - I resort to delegate and among the 300 mothers we train, we scout and found the best 5 who made an effort to send us samples of their work, and they have been earning $1000 - $3000 since.
We have just signed contracts with a couple of small retailers, still producing to 7 MetroJaya Department Store contracts, running EXPO events overseas and locally - obviously, because the bows are all handmade, it is not fair for me to stretch my current production staff beyond their limit and usual working capacity. So with this said, we are once again on the hunt for bow-makers.
The Type We want
The type of bows we wanted may differ from what our competitors are producing. Understand that we are not just a company that feed one person, but a company with existing contracts, reputation in top malls and a company that is keen to keep jobs readily available to its staff. So do not question, why our workmanship and quality of our bows are at its highest, and why we only want the best.
Learn the way we want our bows to be done, the small bows and the big bows which we later make into beautiful designs of Bebescarfs, Bebebows, Bebetops and Bebeclippies.
How will you be paid, and what are the perks of being a bow-maker with us ?
1. You decide the quantity you would like to do. If you are set to only 500 a week, or 100 a week or 1000 a week, we send you the ribbons on Monday and collect them all by Sunday. The production goes too fast so you will not be asked to hold on for another week even. But remember, if you commit to the number you decide say 300, you MUST make sure 300 are done by end week.
2. All the bows returned to us will be checked by the QA. If the bows are accepted, you will be paid $0.30 a bow. If its rejected, it will be returned to you to be redone. My top bow makers can make about 40 bows an hour which totals up to $12 hourly rate. A normal bow-maker can fulfil at least 25 in an hour - $7.50 per hour.
3. The ribbons are all trimmed and burn for you, the strings are also given to you all cut to the right length. You just need to make bows.
4. Payment is immediate into bank account.

You will receive a starter kit of 30 mixed ribbons, strings, gluegun, gluesticks, prong clips, clips, resins, headbands and hat. You will be coached to make bows, and some designs of accessories which can be made from bows. You will also be given 30 minutes of discussion and tips on how to run a business from home. You will also be given a course booklet, written by me.
After the course, you are recommended to practise and send through samples when ready. If they are not up to our standard, they will be returned to you to retry as your discretion. If we love them ~ we will send more ribbons to you for your next assignment. Assignments are dependable on the busy period of production.
